The Banner of Hope-The Banner of Grief-is of red silk with the names and ages of children killed by war inscribed in black. This moving memorial was created in 42 countries regardless of political affiliation. It is a moving reminder of what war really is and has been presented in 7 countries as well as the United Nations. We engage children's minds and curiosity, stimulating learning by interaction with their peers around the globe in working to save our planet.
By doing so, we break down cultural, religious, ethnic and racial barriers between children of the world by promoting cross-cultural collaboration in creative projects.
